Billy King is a Seattle and Mexico-based artist, muralist and icon of the pop-up gallery. Celebrated for his expressive color styles, Billy has painted people, places and objects of beauty since 1970. Billy King’s work is in collections all across the United States, including the Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles, the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC, and all over Seattle.

King (b. 1948) has for many years been a large presence in the Seattle, and national, art world. His "Self Portrait, 1972" is in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
