Carol Weiss

Wisconsin, United States of America
Biography

Carol Weiss’ soft, impressionistic oil paintings of landscapes and flowers are inspired by the area around her home on a beautiful river in Wisconsin, and by her travels through the English countryside. Emphasizing the harmony and patterns of natural forms and richness of color, her paintings capture a peaceful moment in the changing moods of light and seasons. She says the purpose of her work is to invite the viewer to be drawn into the serenity and beauty of creation. She is a member of the Oil Painters of America, the Wisconsin Visual Artists, the Cedarburg Artists Guild, Cedarburg Cultural Center, the Museum of Wisconsin Art and Plymouth Art Center and has paintings in private collections in Wisconsin, the U.S., England, Taiwan and Japan.
