Statement
"I believe an artist should paint what he likes and the way he likes to paint. He must first of all be honest with himself and sincere in what he believes. He must always search for better ways to express himself. He may never be satisfied. If he remains alert and aware, he will be studying life, nature, techniques, himself and the works of other artists, past and present, in an attempt to make his own work more significant."
