Having grown up amongst large plantations of pine and eucalyptus in Columbia, Imbachi witnessed the impact of industrialization on his native soil firsthand. Imbachi’s work is a response to the tension between nature and technology, cataloguing the transformations and mutation of the landscape and creating a naturalistic reimagination of the biological process.
