Yerriyong (Regrowth After Fires), was inspired by a recent trip taken by the artist to Braidwood; ‘I was struck by the devastation from the recent bushfires as I drove from Braidwood to Nowra. In this painting I have attempt to convey the power of regrowth and renewal that is possible after such devastation,’ said Boag.
