This piece is based on Clifton Gardens Reserve - a picnic spot situated on the edge of Sydney harbour. The site is surrounded by green bushland. Deep shadows are cast on hot summer afternoons by the suburb of Mosman that looms over the park from above. Mosman Rugby Club is located to the west. It is a unique and nostalgic place for gathering and pleasure - a culmination of natural and manmade elements.
