Elwood Warren Bartlett

Lowland Country, n.d.

10 × 7 ″ Framed: 16.5 × 13.5 ″ Wood engraving

Black and white woodblock print depicting a waterfront cityscape. Buildings fill the fore and mid-ground with water spotting the right fore and mid-ground. A sailboat and windmills separate the water from the cloud-filled sky that takes up the entire top third of the composition. Small, repetitive marks and clean textures fill the frame.
