Artist-duo Jessie Unterhalter and Katey Truhn transform public spaces into vibrant, playful experiences and use highly geometric, abstract language to engage with the history, architecture, and culture of the places they paint. Since 2011, they have been mounting large-scale public murals and installations across North America. They use the architectural landscapes and local history of the communities they enter as inspiration for their highly recognizable color-blocking style. While not obvious, there is a hint of a bold “B” for Bentonville within their energetic composition.
