102 × 102 cm Oil on Canvas

The inspiration for this painting arose from a cycling trip in New Zealand. I was pleased with how accurately I rendered the structure of the bridges. In contrast, the riverbed of rocks is depicted through abstract marks and gestures that blend together when viewed from a distance.
