This artwork was inspired by my visit to the Phillip Islands of Melbourne, where I witnessed the playful and magical parade of the 'Little Penguins' or 'Fairy Penguins' at sunset. The memory of sitting at the beach with the crowd, as the sun dipped into the horizon, as we all anticipated arrival of the Penguins coming back from their daily hunt, lives in my mind to this day. The long wait was truly worth it, as the group of Penguins waddled back on land with a cheer of the crowd.
