I painted this on Wiradjuri land at Hill End in NSW one afternoon in Spring 2024. Hill End is one of my favourite places to paint, sitting in the dirt, often with my dog Weetbix. I love this area, the white streaks of ghost gums and the red earth, and the sound of kangaroos and goats traversing the bushes and scrub.
