The poems you followed like an oath (Gadigal land, Trumper Park)

I painted this up on the hill surrounding Trumper Park on Gadigal land in Sydney. A few minutes stroll from where I currently live, this park is dense with tall trees, and cared for by volunteers and the local council. This dense patch of trees is a daily experience for me, whether walking with my dog or sitting amongst the bushes painting. I love seeing how the trees glitter with rain, and how a particularly confident white-faced heron often allows me to walk along beside her on the path.
