This painting represents the twin landscapes, environment and political.on the one hand, the impact of climate change on the landscape and recent floods, with damage and horrible stock losses. On th eother hand, the stranded vehicle representing the stalled vision for a fairer Australia, with the sign post showing how far from indigenous recognition we still are. In aboriginal culture, the vision of the rainbow serpent, being a powerful force of nature symbolises retribution through flood for the wrongs of the past.
