I was inspired by the rocky parts of the beach where the waves crash and the rocks stick out of the sand and water. I like how the rocks are all different shapes and how the ocean keeps moving around them. I used bold colours to show how strong and rough the shore feels, but also how peaceful it is when you sit and watch the waves. I love being near the sea, and this painting shows what I see and feel when I’m there.
