Isla (12 years old) always loved art, either it was painting or drawing. She always felt that she belonged, loving art from the start. She liked drawing people, with bright colours and different looks. Looking at the colourful skys and other people’s art, inspired her to keep going.

Artwork Statement:

In this painting, I sketched a park's lake surrounded by mountains. I like piling up thick paint to show trees, hills, water, and open spaces. Through my paintings, I want to capture the feeling of being outside and exploring the natural world.
