Yincha is a special place that was made by the Curlew Brothers - it holds permanent water. It lies next to a sacred hill, to us we call Wathada. An abundance of plants and animals live here and it's a known biodiversity hot spot. When we visit we call out to the ancestors to let them know we are passing through Country.

Naomi Hobson is an Australian Artist living and working in Cape York. Creating art inspired by her Culture. Every piece tells a story.
