The South Coast of New South Wales provides many bays and inlets which provide shelter for sailors and shipping of many types. Over the years I have become familiar with several of them and have enjoyed drawing and sketching them. These often give rise to larger works, of which "Haven" is one. Rather than a portrait of a particular place, it is an amalgam of several venues.
