This painting was made in my studio after a residency in Fowlers Gap in 2025. During my time there I made monoprints at the edge of a waterway lined with river gums. I was particularly taken by the reflected geometric patterns within the organic space of dappled light. My aim was to evoke movement whilst at the same time portray the stillness I felt in myself whilst at Fowlers Gap. This painting is a deep expression of the reverence I hold for this sacred place.
