During a residency at Georges River Sydney, I explored the canopy cover of the Local Government area. Trees flowed through the landscape of open parks, rehabilitated ecologies and headlands with river views. The cooling canopy shade offset warmer than average temperatures, creating vital spaces for leisure and pleasure. These greenspaces provide me with a sense of well-being both physical and mental.
