The Australian coastline can be beautiful and wild and dangerous all at the same time. I have painted with colours not often used in Aussie seascapes to convey this multiplicity.

The ocean is also a multisensory experience – you see and hear the waves, as well as breathing in the sea spray and feeling it on your skin. The close-up water droplets are my way of expressing these sensations.
