A lot of my work has involved leaving Sydney for farther reaches of NSW’s natural landscapes. But a landscape is also what we encounter as apart of our daily life’s. The neighbourhood we live in or our local park. The study for this work was painted in Centennial Park on my way to the studio. Seated on a rock plateau I surveyed the way the light settled into the grass, and the way the shadows were pushed through by the trees.
