Irreversible draws on the visual language of the built environment through intersecting planes, apertures and geometric forms. Referencing the ways architecture shapes memory and spatial experience, the work considers the relationship between structure, perception and vulnerability. Hand-built from slab-rolled clay, the sculpture balances physical mass with a sense of suspension and fragility. Its saturated red glaze references the language of construction and intervention, inviting reflection on permanence, transformation and the irreversible traces of human intervention.
