The  apparent simplicity of Yvonne Boag's work disguises an essential complexity, just as her seeming accessibility belies the toughness of the work.  Her simplicity is actually a  reflection of how unforced her work has become and of the intense integrity which results from someone speaking with the purity of their own voice.
