The image of this painting has been burned into my mind since I walked the Three Capes Track in Tasmania in 2022. It was a cold, grey day, perfect for hiking. I have to make a conscious effort to look up when I'm walking. I tend to watch where I'm placing my feet. I remembered what my late father used to tell me. 'Don't forget to look up', great life advice. When I did look up I was struck by the startling silhouette of wind blown trees and the warm glow of orange flowers against a cold, grey sky. A precious walking moment.
