Artist Statement – Sheer Ripple
Sheer Ripple traces the subtle choreography of light and movement across the horizon where ocean meets sky. In this work, colour behaves as a living force—shifting, dissolving, and reforming in response to the rhythms of air and water. The painting captures a moment of quiet transformation, where gesture and transparency evoke the sensation of space as fluid and responsive, like the ripple of sunlight across a distant vastness.
