The sky does not rehearse its sunrises. It is simply there.
For one hundred consecutive days I painted it from the same place on the Tasmanian farm where I live. Each panel was made at the time written beneath it, in the conditions of that day.
Returning to a fixed viewpoint, change shows itself through accumulation rather than event. Days measured by weather rather than milestones.
No single painting is privileged. Each exists because it was made.
