Yvie, 16 years old, has been passionate about art from an early age, developing her skills through portraiture before expanding into landscape painting. Inspired by a school retreat to Bundanon and the Arthur Boyd Studio, she immersed herself in capturing the beauty and essence of the Australian landscape, enriching her artistic practice.

Artwork Statement:

In this landscape painting I used acrylic paint to capture the different colours of green in the layering of leaves, while also depicting the stripes of bark on Australian trees. I wanted to create an immersive experience for the viewer with depth and reflect what it is like to walk through Australia's bush.
