There is a particular joy when we go to the desert areas. How do the trees survive, let alone dance! The colours sing a different harmony — the hills leap towards the unending skies. Boulders emerge from the ground — the cypress climb the hills — I draw with gouaches, charcoal & graphite. I sit among birdsong.
