‘Call it a day’ is to the passing landscape experienced during a roadtrip. It tells the story of being untethered and in motion with the passing landscape as the only anchor. In this context the landscape becomes internalised. The state of being in between places and confronted by a landscape in motion, allows time for contemplation and introspection.
