I am best known for works that incorporate biomorphic shapes, geometric configurations and gestural marks which coexist within a pictorial space. My main task has always been to reintroduce pictorial strategies within the material limitations of painting. It is about arriving at the point where cognition of place can coalesce with the conditions of pure pictoriality.
